A scholar of the languages of construction materials, Vincenzo Pavan graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Venice in 1968. Focusing on the expressive languages of stone materials, he has organised conferences, architectural seminars, awards, competitions and lectio magistralis.

From 1979, he began an extensive activity dedicated to the conception and organisation of architecture exhibitions and conferences for museums and public institutions. Since 1985, he has collaborated with Veronafiere as a promoter and coordinator of events aimed at redefining the culture of stone in architecture and design and at promoting companies within the marble and stone sector.

He has carried out teaching activities at various international universities, including the New Jersey Institute of Technology, the Université de Montréal, Yeung-jin College in Daegu, South Korea, and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He currently teaches at the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara.
