Luca Scacchetti graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1975. He carried out extensive teaching activities at several institutional venues, including the Politecnico di Milano, the Istituto Europeo di Design, and the Accademia di Brera in Milan.
Studio Scacchetti e Associati operates in the fields of architecture and design, extending its scope from urban planning to the architectural scale of buildings, both public and private, including residential and hospitality projects, as well as interior design and product design, in various European and non-European countries. In Shanghai, the studio designed and realised a model residential district in Pu Jiang South for Expo 2010.
In the field of design, the studio collaborates with leading Italian and international companies in the sectors of furniture, office systems, lighting, bathrooms, surface materials and accessories. The projects of Studio Scacchetti have been widely published in the most important international architecture and design magazines.
The work of Luca Scacchetti (1952–2015) has been the subject of five monographic publications.
