The work of Sam Jacob Studio explores the relationship between architecture and the world around us, developing new connections between contemporary approaches, history and culture. The studio is led by Sam Jacob, whose work has been published and presented in numerous international contexts, including the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016 and 2014 (where he was co-curator of the British Pavilion), Spaces Without Drama at the Graham Foundation in Chicago (2017), A Very Small Part of Architecture at Highgate Cemetery (2016), and a project for the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial.

Jacob is Professor of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and a Visiting Professor at the Yale School of Architecture. He is also a columnist and critic for Dezeen and ArtReview, and a contributor to Icon magazine.
