(Architects)
It is a research method that Riccardo Blumer began developing around 2005 through collaboration with Spanish designer Adrián Freire and architect Matteo Borghi. Together, they initiated a series of constructive experiments aimed at understanding—through direct experience—the behaviour of certain materials, phenomena and processes. The primary objective is to create opportunities to deepen knowledge of natural phenomena as a foundation for artificial creative action, drawing directly on the insights these phenomena provide.
Matteo Borghi | After graduating in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, since 2005 he has been working with Riccardo Blumer on a series of industrial design products for leading Italian companies. At the same time, he is active in teaching at the Degree Programme in Industrial Design at the University of San Marino and at the Academy of Architecture of the Università della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio.
