Raffaello Galiotto

After studying Fine Arts in Venice, he founded his own design studio in 1993 in Chiampo, Vicenza, Italy. Alongside his activity in product design, particularly in the furniture sector, he cultivates a strong interest in research, materials, production processes and technology.
In the marble sector, he has designed numerous products and collections with leading industry companies, investigating the characteristics of stone such as surface, gravity, translucency and colour, as well as the use of digital technologies and waste reduction. He has organised exhibitions and conferences on design and has been a member of the ADI Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige Executive Board.
His projects have been published in books and magazines and exhibited at international events. Since 2014, he has been curator of the experimental pavilion at Marmomac Verona.
