Pio & Tito Toso
(Architects)
Pio & Tito Toso, brothers, were born in Venice in 1973 and 1971. They both graduated in Architecture in Venice in 1998. In 1996, they founded the design studio PIO&TITOTOSO.
They work in the field of architecture, completing numerous projects at both national and international level, and regularly take part in design competitions. Alongside architectural practice, they are also active in furniture and product design, collaborating with some of the most renowned companies in the sector, including Artemide, Foscarini, Leucos, Venini and Vistosi in lighting, and Alessi, Colombo Design, Guzzini, Metalco, Segis, Rossi di Albizzate, Frighetto and Fly Line in furniture.
They also design stands, exhibitions, retail spaces, offices and warehouses, overseeing not only spatial design but also visual identity and graphic communication.
Their work has received numerous international awards and recognitions, including: Red Dot Design Award 2017, ADI Compasso d’Oro Index 2016, Design Plus Award 2016, International Compasso d’Oro Selection 2015, Red Dot Design Awards 2015 and 2012, Good Design Award 2009, I.Dot Selection 2006–2007, and Young & Design Award 2005.
They have taken part in exhibitions across Europe and the United States.
