(Architect)
Born in France, Nicolas Bertoux began his career as an interior architect in Paris before dedicating himself entirely to sculpture. His main objective is to integrate his works into their surroundings, drawing inspiration from the space, culture, history and nature of each place.
His monumental sculptures can be found in France at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and in the city centre of Ronchamp. Other public art projects are located in Taiwan, at the Taipei Institute of Transportation, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and the Hsinchu Cultural Centre, as well as in China, at Corporate Avenue in Shanghai and in Beijing’s Olympic Park.
