Maurizio Barberio

Maurizio Barberio is an architect and holds a PhD. He teaches Architectural Design and Digital Fabrication in the CESAR Programme at the School of Specialisation of the Politecnico di Bari.

His professional and research activity focuses on architectural design, architectural education and digital fabrication, with a particular specialisation in stone architecture and design. In this field, he has co-designed and exhibited several built prototypes, published numerous articles and presented his work at international conferences. He is a co-founder of the New Fundamentals Research Group and of the architecture practice Barberio Colella ARC.
