Mattia Albicini, Luca Martorano

Luca Martorano and Mattia Albicini both graduated in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano in 2005, although they only met in 2008. After spending several years respectively in London and Sydney, they returned to Italy in 2011 and began an intense collaboration on numerous projects. From the outset, their functional vision of design—aimed at achieving a balanced dialogue between technique and style, tradition and innovation—led them to coordinate projects across a wide range of sectors.
In 2018, they founded DRAW, which, beyond being a physical studio based in Milan and Bolzano, is first and foremost a concept: a brand built around their design philosophy, whose values focus on production quality, refinement and a composed, measured elegance. DRAW is a container for projects dedicated to the world of furniture and interiors, but also represents a collection of very diverse production experiences, where each work shares a common depth of research, meticulous attention to detail and care for relationships among the people involved. From the earliest sketches to the final outcome, all projects are driven by a deep passion for drawing.
