Elena Salmistraro
(Designer)
A designer and artist, she lives and works in Milan. She graduated from the Politecnico di Milano and in 2009 founded her own studio, collaborating as a designer and illustrator with numerous companies in the creative industries.
Attention to detail, harmonious forms and a poetic style define her creations, which blend art and design. Central to her practice is the search for an expressive language of objects capable of captivating people and evoking emotions. Her projects have been selected for several international exhibitions.
In 2017, she won the Salone del Mobile.Milano Award as “Best Emerging Designer”. Since 2017, she has been appointed Ambassador of Italian Design in the World by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in 2018 she was named Ambassador of the Brera Design District.
