(Architect)
I was born in Chile in 1972. Before becoming an architect, I gained experience as a carpenter, working alongside my father. I studied Architecture at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, graduating in 1996. I became a qualified architect in January 2000 and obtained a PhD in Architecture and Urban Studies in 2005.
My work has been published internationally, including in Germany, China, Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Japan and Mexico. I have been invited to international events, conferences and workshops by universities and professional associations of architects. I worked for three years with Teodoro Fernández, recipient of the National Architecture Award, and for five years with Germán del Sol, also a recipient of the National Architecture Award. I currently collaborate with architect Smiljan Radić and teach Architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
